This map was created from information contained in an old Auburn Precinct map and various old USGA topographical maps. The automobile has played an important part in Auburn's growth by this time. The growing number of roads is leading to new housing developments and Auburn also hosts two trolley lines. The trolleys begin their runs through Auburn in Worcester. One line travels across Pakachoag Hill and Auburn Center and the other one begins its Auburn route at Pinehurst Avenue, over Main Street and Bryn Mawr Avenue and eventually enters Oxford.
