1937 - Town of Auburn
Information for this map came primarily from maps created as part of a WPA project. The maps contained topographical, geological and cultural information about the town. This map shows the appearance of the Southwest Cutoff (now Route 20). That road could be considered the first interstate highway that Auburn has hosted and is indicative of how important the automobile has become.
