The Owls are Coming!
The Auburn Public Library presents Wingmasters™

Friday June 21st 2019 | 6:00 pm – 7 / 7:30 pm | Check-in is from 5:30 – 5:55 pm
**Library entrance doors will be locked at 6:00 pm, as this program is scheduled after normal operating hours.

A variety of live owls and an additional bird of prey provides the focus of this fascinating presentation. Wingmasters™ is a partnership of two licensed raptor rehabilitators, Julie Anne Collier and Jim Parks, who care for injured birds of prey. Most of the birds they rehabilitate can ultimately be released back into the wild, but in some cases release is not possible. Those birds remain in their care and are used for educational programs. Since 1994, Wingmasters has presented over 5000 programs throughout New England.
This program focuses on the beautiful, misunderstood owl, showing how they use their specialized powers of sight, hearing, and flight to survive and thrive.
