FF Troy Arcouette


Troy Arcouette has been in the Massachusetts fire service for 12 years. He began his career as a Call Firefighter in the Town of Millbury in 1991. He continued his training as an EMT and became a full time EMT for American Medical Response in 1998 in the city of Worcester while attending Quinsigamond Community College where he obtained his EMT-Intermediate Advanced certification.

His career continued on a private 911 Paramedic unit in the cities of Lawrence, Lowell, Fitchburg and the Town of Auburn. He later attended training and became certified as a Paramedic and continued to serve the local area as a Paramedic for the Towns of Millbury, Grafton and Auburn. He joined the Oxford Fire/EMS Department in the early 2000s where he served 4 years, continuing his passion for firefighting he began his training through the District 7 Recruit Training Program.

Firefighter/Paramedic Arcouette was hired full-time to the Auburn Fire Rescue Department in 2011 and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. Since joining the department he has acquired certifications as a FF I/II, open water diving, dive rescue, ice rescue, swift water rescue and is an active member of the District 7 Regional Dive Team. FF Arcouette also holds certification as an American Heart Association Instructor for CPR/First Aid and is also a credentialed Fire Prevention Officer-Basic. In his career with the department he has received both a Merit and Unit Citations for his actions on the scene of emergencies.
