Melissa Tyler

Melissa Tyler began her fire service career as a call member of the Sherborn Fire Department in 2010. While working in Sherborn, Melissa obtained her EMT certification and worked as an EMT for both a private Ambulance company as well as Sherborn Fire. She was also employed by a local hospital working as a technician in the emergency room. Melissa was hired as a career Firefighter/EMT for the AFRD July 1, 2018 and is assigned to Group 4.

Melissa is a graduate of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Call/Vol program, Class #304 and is a nationally certified Firefighter I/II. She is currently finishing her program and will soon be testing to obtain her national certification as a Paramedic.
