Mark Johnson

Firefighter/Paramedic Mark Johnson began his career in 2006 with the Auburn Fire Rescue Department assigned to Group 2. He graduated from the Massachusetts Fire Fighting Academy, Career Recruit Class #176 in 2007 where he obtained certification as a Fire Fighter I/II.

Mark began his career in emergency medical services in 1988 when he became an EMT through Leicester Fire Department’s EMT Program. He then attended Mass Bay Community College for Paramedicine in 1995 and obtained national certification as a Paramedic. He began working for Marlborough – Hudson Ambulance before moving on to work for Worcester EMS in 2004.

Mark holds numerous FEMA certifications. He previously served as ALS Coordinator and aided the development of the ALS system in Auburn. Throughout his career, Mark has been awarded numerous unit citations.
